Holy crapoholic batman! Been a year since I updated this cesspool of errors. Do I intend to come back with a vengence? Probably not. Why make a post after such a long period of time anywhos? Because I like answering my very own rhetorical questions.
Also, I want to post stuff that noone cares about in grammer that would make Grandma R blush! (See what I did there?). Also I felt if I'm procrastinating by posting here, I would in the future procrastinate posting here by doing stuff I should be doing. See how that works out? Nicely thats how!
Who am I addressing anyways? Maybe you know, because I don't!
Did you know flammable and inflammable mean the same thing? How convenient.
See the ideas I'm talking about releasing on here? Ofcourse you don't, because you aren't here.

*ponders next move*
Been 3 weeks since last update. Feels so much longer.
So I lost the student council thing. But it's probably the most happiest I have ever been in my life about losing anything. And boy have I lost a lot!
Now some of you may say "But Zohaib that's just loser talk and you know it!" while some of you may not say anything.
I don't feel the need to address the second bunch as I believe they already have their priorities set in life so kudos! To the first group, well as you care so much about me I feel the need to defend myself. The thing is my interests never lay in Student Council. As I mentioned in my last post I was just looking to keep myself busy. Now after I lost the elections I started focusing on other things, like drama club which has been a blast. Now if I had won the elections I probably would never have tried to go for drama club because I would have been too busy and wouldn't have had any fun at student council either so YAY!
So life is pretty good right now. Not much to complain about. Don't even know why I'm blogging. Well I actually do. It's just so that you all think this blog isn't dead and keep checking up for entries.
I really don't want the blog to die. Atleast not until it reaches it's one month anniversary so atleast it won't go down as a failure.

Because I was free, here is another random entry. Completely complementary!
Just because I didn't want an emo entry being the first entry, heere's another post. YAY!
It doesn't even matter much I guess as noone even reads this thing according to the counter thingy. That's pretty swell though. It's like when you are standing at a corner and don't even know that the person you are talking to,who is on the other side of the corner, is still there or not. Kinda like talking to yourself but not quite.
Now I'm just babbling.
So since yesterday I've been addicted to Pushing Daisies. Have been wanting to see it for sometime but finally got around to it yesterday. The show is just plain amazing. A bit, actually ALOT, Tim Burtonish but much funnier. It's created by Bryan Fuller, the same guy who made Wonderfalls which was another amazing show which certainly meant it got added to the group "Fucked By Fox". It's in great company though with the likes of Arrested Development and Firefly, among others.
Also I got selected to campaign for Student Council. Wooo! Call me whatever you want, but I love winning stuff. Boasts my ego. It is on level Godly now.
I can't think of any ideas for a campaign though. I was thinking of making it humorous but I doubt ECA would be too pleased with my sense of humour. So if you guys (and by guys I mean the other side of my personality reading this!) have any ideas, please fire away.
Last semester was filled with stuff, such as the play, organising the Halloween party and even debate club while nothing at all has happened this sem, so this should gimme something to do.
Also Pixar is coming out with a new movie called Wall-E which looks really promising. There is hardly any dialogue in it but the story and animation look really promising. Made by the same guy who made Finding Nemo. Which doesn't mean much as I thought it was a bit overrated. Great movie, but Pixar has done soo many better.
There isn't anything much I can think of at the moment so yeah...

Yet another emo rant
Gah I'm exhausted.
Some of my best/worst posts have been made when I'm exhausted. Though almost all of my posts seem like they are aimed at an audience, they are written just for me. I blog just to put down whatever shits on my mind. But it seems like I'm aiming it at someone, simply because it feels easier to address it that way. This post is the epitome of that. It's not really meant to be read. Feel free to do so but I hardly think you will understand a word of it. It's just me putting down shit to make sense out of it. Something like self therapy.
-------------
I hate coming home. I hate going online and I hate knowing everything thats going on around me. That all explains the lack of posts lately.
I hate coming home because it means I get to go online and I hate going online because it means I get to know whatever is going on around me. I hate THAT because I just feel so left out of everything. I don't know what it really is. When I think hard about it there is very little I can find to complain about life. I've got more than enough friends but something just feels like its missing.
There are so many people I hate having lost touch with. Sometimes I wish that Maz had just continued, not because college life sucks. Far from it. But because it would have felt so much better to just continue in one stage of life rather than having to start over again time after time. I know I'm just babbling because really I am loving college. I've met alot of new people and my social life is probably tons better than before but it still feels like things then were just easier.
I also get the feeling there isn't anyone I'm REALLY close to anymore. Sure I know alot of people and I am close to enough but it feels like I don't know anyone who I can totally feel compatible with as a friend. A best friend perhaps? I don't know what it is. I really don't. But everytime I come online and check Facebook, MSN and all that other shit I just feel so bummed out. So left out. Left out of what? I don't even know.
Maybe its my personality. I really don't have one. I don't think I've ever made a good first impression or any kind of impression at all. I know there is something wrong there. I can feel it when I communicate with anyone but I just can't seem to fix it.
Maybe its not even my social life thats missing something. I really can't seem to guess what it is. All I know is that there is a gapping hole and it's like I know exactly the thing that can fit right into it to cover it up but what it is I can't seem to remember. Like those times when you know who exactly was in that movie but their name and their face just can't be recalled.
Maybe I know exactly whats wrong and do remember it but I'd rather just try and figure out alternatives rather than selecting that option. Its like I know there are no alternatives but I'll just keep trying to find them because I know I'll never be able to carry out what really needs to be done.

Because titles are pointless...
Now in my time I've watched ALOT of movies. If you have talked to me for more than 10 minutes you will know that my love for the movies can goto to an almost creepy and repulsive level.
The truth is until maybe 2 years back, I felt very little emotion watching movies. I couldn't understand why someone would watch a movie twice and the only thing I found weirder were people crying after watching a movie. Sure I loved watching them. I still remember the first time I watched Hook and how much I loved it but apart from it I can't remember any movie having a major effect on me.
Now in the last 2 years, its been a completely different story. Two movies that come to mind are "Saving Private Ryan" and "Stand By Me". Now I assure you there have been many many many others but right now these are the only ones I can remember. I have never hated anyone more than Upham when he acted like a chicken shit at the end of the movie and as for Stand By Me..well you just have to watch it.
.
Anyways in the last 2 weeks I've watched ALOT of movies thanks to the wonders of what streaming has done for piracy. And boy have I watched some awesome comedies.
First off Monty Python. If you haven't heard of them well I really pity you. I heard alot about them sometime back but it was only recently I got around to watching "The Holy Grail" and "Life Of Brian". Good lord even after watching it after 40 years you can still see why the British are so much better than the Americans at humour. Both the movies made me realize that every comedy I had watched up till now was so...childish. How the Americans make all their comedies out of physical humour to get some cheap laughs but the British use clever dialogue to make sure it stays with you long after and really leaves an impression.
Next up I watched The Big Lebowski. This movie isn't for everyone. I really can't describe it so here's something you can use to make your own conclusions.
Let's just say some awesome soundtrack and the main character's name being Dude is more than enough reason to watch this one.
Now finally the reason for me blogging after god knows how long without even explaining why. Clerks. I just finished watching Clerks 2 which is obviously a sequel to the first one which I watched last weekend.
The first Clerks was made by Kevin Smith when he was working in a movie rental store. He used his college fund and the money he made by selling his comic collection to come up with a fund of a mere 25,000. By using his high school friends and family as the cast and getting his boss to let him use the shop at night, he worked on one hour of sleep. The whole movie was black and white to cut back on cost. In the end it made 3 million eventhough it never played on more than a 100 cinemas.
While so many movies have shown no matter how much money and resources you put in to make a god-aweful comedy, (*coughepicmoviecough*)it turned out to be one of those rare movies that show how little you need to make a good comedy.
The sequel more than lives up to the movie too. Never thought I'd actually find bestiality humourous...
Also Clerks 2 is the first movie ever that I've felt the urge to burst out clapping in total agreement due to the following scene

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Lack of updates can be blamed on streamyx for getting confused and thinking "3-7 days" meant "3-7 weeks".
So didn't use the computer for 2 days less than a month and it has helped me overcome my addiction. The first few days were hard but I made it through.
Anyways all that aside it's a time to look back at 2007! And it being my blog and all here are 30 things in no particular order of what happened to me and other crap!
